Uses of Depten Tablet
Depten 50 mg/20 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of high blood pressure.

How to use Depten Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Depten 50 mg/20 mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.Take it either 1 hour before or 2 hours after food.

How Depten 50 mg/20 mg Tablet works
Depten 50 mg/20 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Atenolol and nifedipine which lower blood pressure effectively. Atenolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate while nifedipine is a calcium channel blocker which works by relaxing blood vessels. Together, they make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.

Common Nausea, Vomiting, Constipation, Diarrhoea, Edema, Dizziness, Weakness, Cold extremities, Headache, Flushing of skin, Decreased blood pressure, Slow heart rate, Numbness of extremity.
